Name calling

I have had a really rough week. Lots of work and lots of deadlines can make me very grumpy. Having to deal with annoying and inconsiderate people at the same time makes me want to inflict bodily harm and scream out some profanity! I am proud of myself, I resisted. But it made me think of anything you could say to someone that was in fact an insult but would not be construed as one. I didn't come up with any. So if you think of some, please let me know. I did get these though and at least they made me laugh...

Nice commics! As a teacher, I want to say the most truthful but yet inappropriate stuff all the time. Sometimes I wonder how I can even contain myself and I am frustrated beyond belief. Hang in there, and know that you will have your time out in the field doing exciting stuff. I have breaks and next summer to look forward to.

I liked these. They're the only pictures I received in a chain mail that I actually saved to my hard drive.

Incidentally, how's the new shop working out? Have people figured out what's what yet?

These things come and go... but it's good to have a venue (blog) to rant and exorcise the bitch in all of us. So, go for it girl!

hehe - these are cute... seen one or two of them before.

Hope things ease up a bit soon!

OrchidHunter: I don't care what Wendy says - the shop is not all that. The customers keep telling us "you've lost your touch", "it's clinical", "it's so bright" and then there are those die-hard fans who just love it - everyone has to share their opinion with us - what a headache.
Love the cartoons Wendy, u know all about my tough times! I am hitting that download button right now.

Hi Wendy, Polyman here. Yea deadlines do suck. Nothing like some added pressure.
Nice toons.

I've always wanted to bump into someone I don't like at an Asian restaurant. After saying hello, I'd politely say "Please excuse me, my sushi is getting cold".

Otherwise there seems to be an art to underhanded compliments that should be practised.
